I got a blog award!
THANK YOU, MELINDA!
About Me:
I blog about myself :) Well, not everything about my life, but the important stuff. Right now, the "important stuff" is the recent gastric bypass surgery I had. I made the blog as a way to not only document my journey, but so friends and family can check up on me and see how things are going. I searched for "gastric bypass blog" on Google and none of the top results answered my pre-surgery questions. So I figured, why not make a blog myself? Maybe it will help someone else!
About Melinda (who nominated me):
I met Melinda (Recovering Fatty) on the message boards over at Living After Weight Loss Surgery, which was the most comprehensive forum site I found. I posted an introductory post, and Melinda was really the only person who took the time to check out the blog in my signature, and post a comment with her support. Although our friendship is new, I feel like we are connected in the blogosphere, and if I had questions or needed anything, I know I could ask her. Melinda is a new friend who I hope I'm in contact with for a long time.
I Nominate.... Drum Roll Please!
Time to pass the torch! I'm giving this blog award to my close friend in real life, Lori. Her site is not updated as much as it used to be, so maybe this will motivate her to update it over at infur.org. Her posts are a mixture of work-related, geek-related and life-related, and I love it when she updates and I can keep up with her. Grats Lori! What To Do If You Are Nominated:
Put the award in one post as soon as you receive it
Don't forget to mention the person who gives you the award
Answer the awards questions by writing the reason why you love blogging
Tag and distribute the award to as many people as you like
Don't forget to notify the award receivers and put their links in your post
